A message has been circulated in whatsApp, Warning people that answering the call of the number '77788899' could killed buy burning out their handset and render them to death.This message clearly seems to be fake. '77788899' is a 9-digit number and which will not work in India.So if it is an international number where is the country code then?
So best Advise is to ignore this kind of messages in whatsApp and social media
The Message was:-
A viral message took social media by storm warning people that answering a phone call from a specific mobile number may set your mobile phone on fire and get you killed.
According to the message, that has created panic in villages, a phone call from 777888999 can lead to blast in your phone.
"Dear what’s app users: Please read the message carefully, It’s not a joke. In-between 12.00am to 3.00am don’t pick the phone call from the number- 777888999. Yes it’s a nine digits mobile number but it’s not fake. 10 people have died because of answering the call," the message said.
